Marion Bernardine

Marion Bernardine is a noted educator who worked in the field for over 30 years as a former Principal and champion of equity issues.

Before her retirement, Marion was the Principal of Regal Road Public School from 1993-1998. In 1997, she was part of a team of educators that traveled to South Africa and assisted in developing educational outcomes for that country’s new educational system of education. Since her retirement, she has undertaken consulting work for the Ontario Ministry of Education, while pursing her passion for painting, which reflects her Caribbean and Canadian experience.

Other: Prior to teaching, Marion studied and worked in commercial art and design. Since retiring, she practices her art using various techniques and styles; her works are sometimes exhibited.
