Taly Williams is an Environmental Engineer and former Professional Athlete who has received international recognition for his involvement in environmental remediation projects worldwide. In 1999, he assisted in the design and oversaw the construction of the first drinking water facility in U.S. history to comply with the State Department of Health Services’ requirement to remediate the toxic gasoline additive, MTBE.
The award-winning current affairs TV program, 60 Minutes, aired a special featuring this site and the issues related to MTBE contamination; this resulted in the Clinton Administration banning the additive in 2000. In 1997, he represented and directed all phases of an ex-situ bioremediation program, in London, England, which later won an Environmental Cleanup of the Year award.
In 2006, Taly launched a revolutionary new golf tool called, The TALY MIND Set®, which reveals a new point of reference for the golf swing. The Taly is currently being used by the #2 golfer in the world behind Tiger Woods.
Background: Introduced to football in his final year of high school at Haliburton Highlands Secondary School before entering the University of Waterloo for Engineering. Played professional football in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger Cats (1994-1996). In 1994, he held the Toronto Argonaut record for longest rush from scrimmage.
